General terms and conditions of sale (GTCS)
The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to reservations and stays as well as to all other services and deliveries provided for the customer, such as restaurant and seminar services at the Hotel Drei Berge AG.
Contracting parties and contract conclusion
The contracting party is Hotel Drei Berge AG, Lus 1050A 3825 Mürren (hereinafter referred to as “the Hotel”) and the person (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”) who books a room or services at the Hotel. The Hotel reserves the right to amend, supplement and/or otherwise modify these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice. These terms and conditions apply to all legal relationships between the hotel and the customer. The contract between the hotel and the guest is concluded by the acceptance of a reservation in written form (including e-mail), by telephone or via an electronic or personal reservation and by the receipt of the reservation confirmation. By making a reservation, the customer accepts this and agrees that his reservation, if accepted by the hotel, will be maintained in accordance with the following conditions.
Services and prices
The hotel provides the room(s) reserved by the customer and provides the agreed services. No guarantee is given for availability outside the dates mentioned. The hotel is also entitled to adjust its prices if the customer subsequently requests changes to the number of rooms booked, the hotel services or the length of stay, and if the hotel agrees to these changes. The hotel may, at its sole discretion, cancel a reservation if, in the hotel’s opinion, the reservation details provided are false or incomplete. All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) per room and include the services listed on the confirmation and on the website, including VAT. The local tourist tax is not included in the price and will be added to the customer’s bill at check-out. Only the number of guests specified in the booking (including children) are allowed to use the room and other guest facilities. For additional guests, the following prices apply, including breakfast:
– Children up to 2 years: free.
– Children up to 15.9 years: between CHF 45.00 and 85.00 (depending on season)
– Children and adults aged 16 and over: between CHF 65.00 and 110.00 (depending on season).
Check-in and Check-out
Rooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is at 11:00 am.
Responsibility: Hotel rooms must be used with the utmost care and treated as such. The customer is liable for any damage, unless the customer can prove that the damage was caused through no fault of his own. Any damage must be reported immediately to the hotel. The hotel is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to guests’ personal belongings, nor is it liable for any accident, injury or damage occurring during the stay.
Changes and cancellations
Changes or cancellations must be made in writing or by the same means as the reservation. The date of receipt of the communication by our hotel is decisive for compliance with the amendment deadline. Cancellation is only valid if confirmed by the hotel. A valid credit card is required for each reservation. This credit card can be charged for changes, cancellations and advance payments. As a general rule, booking changes or cancellations are subject to the following conditions, depending on the rate booked:
Non-refundable bookings and advance booking rates No cancellations or changes are possible after the booking has been made. The total price of the stay is due at the end of the booking and, as a general rule, charged to the credit card indicated. The same applies to no-shows: no refunds are possible.
Flexible rates Free changes and cancellations are possible for flexible rates up to a certain time before the arrival date. This period is communicated to the customer at the time of booking or booking confirmation and varies according to the season.
In the event of cancellation or modification of the reservation, the following conditions apply:
– Up to 14 days before arrival: Free of charge
– In the event of cancellation within 14 days or in the event of non-arrival: 100% of the total price of the stay.
Pets
Pets are only allowed with prior agreement and against payment. Pets are only allowed in certain public areas and must always be supervised.
Non-smoking hotel
Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and on all balconies, as well as in all areas accessible to the public, such as our lobby and restaurants. Please respect other customers. Failure to comply with the smoking ban in rooms and on balconies may result in additional costs for the guest, due to extra cleaning work and the inability to immediately re-let the room.
All contracts concluded with HOTEL DREI BERGE AG under these terms and conditions shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Lauterbrunnen.
