Hiking

In 2016, Swiss mountaineers Roger Schäli and Simon Gietl set a record in this region, crossing the three iconic peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau in just 16 hours and 4 minutes. Following in their footsteps, Hotel Drei berge offers the Mürren Panorama Trail, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Alpine peaks and the valleys below.

For those looking for a bit more of a challenge, the Schilthorn hike offers postcard-worthy scenery, with some steep sections, and difficulty is the order of the day. In the Lauterbrunnen region, the excursion to the famous Staubbach waterfalls is a must – one of the wildest parts of Switzerland. The well-marked, relatively easy trail traces a path through forests to the base of the cascades, where a waterfall of over 300 meters pours down from the top of the cliff.
